Install docotive app from marketplace

To install docotive on your monday.com board for the first time from the monday.com Marketplace, follow these steps: 

1. Log in to your Monday.com account: Open your browser and go to monday.com. Enter your login details to access your account.
2. Access the Marketplace: On the left-hand sidebar, find and click on the “Apps” or “Marketplace” section. This will take you to the monday.com Marketplace.
3. Search for docotive: In the Marketplace search bar, type “docotive” and hit enter. Find the docotive app in the search results.
4. Install Docotive: Click on the docotive app, and you’ll be taken to its installation page. Click on the “Install” button.
5. Select your board: Choose one of the following options
   • Start with a template Use docotive’s pre-built template that includes Board, Sample Data in the Main Table, Word Template and a quick guide with it.
     • — OR —
   • Start with your own workspace. Add app to your existing workspace so you can benefit from new capabilities.

Add docotive app on your existing monday.com board

Please follow following steps to add app to your existing workspace on your existing board.

1. Select board from your workspace in monday.com account
2. Click “+” next to Main Table to add docotive app
3. Select “Apps” from the dropdown options
4. Select “docotive” app. 

Note: You can add as many docotive views to your single board, each with different settings and templates to generate different documents.

Generate test document

1. Goto docotive app
2. Select “Documents” tab from the top menu
3. Click “Generate” Button

It will generate a default List document in the pdf format that displays the first four columns and their values in a table format.

You can control which columns appear in the list by selecting ‘Table Columns’ from docotive’s “Settings” tab and checking the column names you want to include in your documents. By default, all column names are selected.
